Power Steering Leak

Up date, I put some metal bodge on the P/S pipes yesterday & all seam well :smile: I've just got back in tonight & thought I'd check underneath just I case & gues what there leaking again :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: So it's plan 2 & that cut them with a hacksaw & fit some rubber P/S pipe over them & secure it with hose clips that if I can remove some of the bodge off the pipes :roll:

I now i'm going to loose a lot os fluid after cutting the pipes, do you have to bleed the powersteering system when it comes to topping it up with new fluid or do you just poor into P/S bottle & it bleeds its self :? :? :?

Update :smile: It's been a month now since I cut the bottom power steering oil cooler pipe & put a rubber p/s pipe over over the cut & pipes to try & stop the leak & not have to fork out £300 for a new set. Well up to now it's worked 100% no leaks -groovy- -groovy- -groovy-
If anyone else gets this problem I would say give it a try & under £5 for all the bits I needed it's worth it :smile: :smile:
