Hi all,
I am considering selling my Terrano as I am getting a Ford Mustang at the beginning of next year (confirmed and everything with the Mrs :clap ). below are the details...
Nissan Terrano II SE Green Over Silver. 1998 R reg. 2.7 TDi LWB with all 7 seats
Had a full service around 6 months ago which included engine flush, filter changes, breaks checked, tyres checked, oil completely changed and whatever else they do on a full service . I ALSO had both front and rear differentials LSD oils completely changed.
Front tyres are as good as new, General grabber AT 2.
Read tyres are a long way off being done but are only normal road tyres.
Passed MOT first time in March with 5 advs.
Taxed until November MOT until March.
It has only been green laned once, that I am aware of.
It has a K&N air filter fitted which has only done around 8k miles.
Engine is PERFECT.
Comes with a none standard stereo with an AUX connection for IPOD etc.
It has a brand new last December Varta battery in it too.
All electrics work bar front passenger indicator.
Car has dnoe 118,000 miles and only 3 owners inc me.
Which leads me to its issues:
1. The ARB drop link on the drivers side has snapped, still drives perfectly but has an annoying squeek everytime you go over a bump lol - I HAVE THE PART which will come with the car but cant be arsed to fit it
2. Front passenger indicator needs sorting, changed bulb but still wont work. This has only gone around 2 weeks ago so is a fairly recent fault.
3. Small leak in top of diesel tank, but only happens when the tank is full which I am sure wont be a problem for most rofl.
Like I say the car is perfect for its age and the only problem that I have had which ever stopped it working on me was a burst clutch pipe, which has been fixed.
Now for the nitty gritty.
I spent £2500 on the car during the snow last November, I know thats a rip off but at the time all the 4x4's on Autotrader were this price.
I would "like" to get around £1400-£1500 for it in current condition. I have spent at least £500 since I brought it with upgrades and looking after.
Or ideally, I would like to consider a swap for a "normal" car until I get the Stang - open to options on this.
