old thread come back.
sorry bansheeeee i did not reply to your post.
i had to replace ip on green t2 and that was run only on derv, took me a long time to finally find fault.even a nissan dealer at 60 an hour only told me its a fuel problem and i said so 60 lighter and you say the same as i think.

spinna are you still getting the problem,if so rig up a totally separate fuel can and connect rubber fuel pipe to inlet to ip on bulkhead at fuel filter so clean fuel straight into ip line.
gravity feed so it will self bleed at ip.
if it turns over and starts and runs and revs it must be your fuel line/inline filter somewhere, watch the fuel in the higher tank and keep topped up as the spare fuel will still go to tank via return pipe.work backwards to tank,if you have a air supply you can blow back into tank and here bubbles with tank cap off,you also might find the leak.

You recommended I did exactly the same when I was having fuelling issues on my Maverick, it was this test that then lead me to the swirl chamber in the tank where I found a conifer growing :lol

Well pleased to say the old girl is running sweet as....
Had to get her sorted as the Wife's Vectra decided to spit its dummy out with the throttle body giving up on us.:lol

I checked all hose connections and removed/re fitted fuel filter then bled system at injectors which I hadn't done before. It took several attempts but has done the trick as been running well for the last week. :D

Oh and Vectra fixed as of today too:lol
