I was wondering if anyone has fitted Poly bushes to the ARB & the drop links :?: I replaced my ARB drop links about 3-4 months back but i/ve noticed a creek from the front end & when I had a look the N/S ARB drop link bush has split in 1/2  Was hoping it would have lasted longer so was wondering if I would be better off going for poly ones next time :?
No HB they are stopping on for the min before you tell me to bin them

I fitted some on my last T2 with out any bother seemed to be fine and never needed to touch them again.
I think the biggest help to the ARB joints was shimming them out with washers from the bar so that they sat in a vertical position when the suspension was in its neutral position where it spends most of its time rather than at an angle that seems to demolish the bushes and wear an enlarged hole in the lower suspension arm.

Hi Toolbox, my arms have a very slight oval in them so I fitted washers top & bottom of the bushes so they did'nt come into contact with the arms, this was done on both sides of the arm

Think I am not explaining this properly.
What I meant Sweaty was to shim the joint out from where it attaches to the ARB so that it is straight up and down or to put it another way so the joint sits at 90 deg to the ARB.

Sorry Toolbox  bit slow today, yes I get what you mean & that sounds a good idea, could I ask what you used for a shim to line it up correctly :?:

Just some ordinary thick flat washer, done up tight with no movement they will be fine.
