I took mine out ages ago and never replaced. Does it matter? I'm not sneezing any more than normal
 
Checked mine today and I'm sure it's not supposed to be black both sides :nenau I think it's time to change it

I had one in my V70, and one year, the mechanic saved it, to show me the difference in weight between my "Full" one, and a clean one... it was scary just how much dust it stops coming into the cabin.

Had a look online and there's a few different types so off to auto factors with reg number I think

At the last air filter change I fitted a K & N - seems to be a bit more oomph, but main reason was the dusty Spanish tracks block standard filters in a few months, the K & N filter I wash out and refit - job done!

What everyone is missing here is that it filters the dust that will eventually block up your heater matrix, and if you have it the air con evaporator, Rick
