Hi guy's how much play should I have when jacking up front drivers wheel and shaking it left to right as when I do it passanger side with drivers side on the ground I dont get a lot it looks like the steering relay arm but it twist s a bit hope u can help

I tend to feel for a knock, rather than movement.

If you have more play on the drivers side than passenger then I would suspect drivers side track rod end, but best way is get someone to wobble the steering while you look at all the joints in turn, Rick

That's the hateful thing about the half past four Friday afternoon designed "steering" by the day release apprentice with special needs and one eye :doh
The drag link WILL twist it's arse off and still be in MOT tolerance. So if you're lucky it'll be track rod end ball joint, if not it's the drag link ball joint  That one's captive and needs a complete new drag link :(
