Goodness, that really is sad news!
My sincerest condolences to his friends and family.

Oh Dear the world is a poorer place without him, never met him in person but knew him on here for years. RIP friend.

Wow... I am speechless.... He had so much to do still.

Rest in Peace Chris.

Had the privilege of meeting him once when he was delivering wood to a mutual friends house. He lives about 5 mins from my house

He sold me a mag mount CB aerial the first one I ever used on my car :(

Has helped me out a few times on here

RIP Chris :(

Rip Chris, will miss talking to him although sadly never got to met him, we had tea, campfire & stories planned for the summer, was only speaking to him last nite on fb :(

Good grief what a bummer :(
Had great laugh with the guy on here and face ache :D
I bet he's reeling off some stories to him upstairs right now. Never met him but still feel I knew him.
As I'm sure he'd have agreed with me on this, Live for the day guys, tomorrow ain't here yet

I just read this about 10 minutes ago, and I just can't get my head around it.

Plank was a true member of this club, over the years we have batted ideas to each other, passing on advice from our own experiences.

He will be truly missed.
I never actually met him, but I felt as though I knew him.
Our thoughts are with his family at this sad time.

Life is so fragile,
like a candle in the wind.

Guys,

In shock, loss of a dear friend, spent some great times, not enough together but more by text and private message, modern pen pals I suppose.

When the time is right I hope you can join me in a collection/condolence card/ecard.

Will of course forward any funeral arrangements.

Most certainly Thomas.

I only knew Chris through his posts on here but it is always sad when something like this happens.

Thoughts are with the family and friends. RIP

Woke up this morning and I still cannot believe this news. Plank was a steadying influence on here and posted his knowledge when needed. He was never outspoken and a real gentleman. What an opportunity missed for those of us who never met him.
