I want to move to Whitby or somewhere on the North Yorks coast, lots of childhood and adult memories and a beautifull area. I'd also like to go to Perth..... Western Australia but my wife wont go..... may be it is the land of oppertunity then:lol

Ok coming into this one a bit late but where would I live?

West coast of Scotland, they got rugged mountains, coast, snow in winter and the most important distilleries for when you get snowed in:D.

Would I survive there? I think not, if the whiskey didn't kill me the locals would after all the majority of Scots hate the English and I do fly a St. Georges and not the Union Jack:augie

Second question

Not ASDA as they are owned by Wallmart
Not Lidl or Aldi as they are German or something
Not Netto as thats scandinavian for value

So that leaves us with

Tesco
Morrisons
Iceland
B&Q
Waitrose

Personally I work for the local NHS trust so I suppose if I wanted I might be able to move almost anywhere but rural Herefordshire will do for me, as an outsider (Manchester born and bred) I have settled here now.

OK I am rambling now so I will let someone else have a turn.

Sorry folks I'm off to bed

Hope Laura was up to scratch:lol:thumbs

Think I'll move in next door to Jim - or perhaps round the corner at Robin Hoods Bay or Snaith. Pay and Play sie at RH Bay too.

Or maybe the thick of the dales, Malham, Hawes or similar, perhaps I could run the pub at Tan Hill.

Willow - is it part of (or the) Arcadia group you work for? British owned by Phillip Green I beleive.

yep clarks shoes

where you go depends on how much you have to spend

wales is nice great countryside and people.

i love where i live the yokels are most welcoming and are the friendlyist people in the world.

they are always around to help without wanting reward if you need anything it there without needing to ask. and if your in trouble (as some of you know i have been) they all come and help you

no locking doors. people just drop in for coffee etc and dont even knock they just stroll in and pull up a chair.

im here for good. im english... but wales is my home :thumbs

Sounds nice extreme but i'm sorry the clarkes that brew beer is more like it:thumbs
