photo slideshow software

Hi guys , I want to put some photos onto disc in the form of slideshow to share with family so they can play on their dvd players, it was the wifes grans 90th birthday party last weekend. also play some music on the slideshow .
I don't have anything on my pc windows media etc. that can do it . i have dowloaded some off the net but when it comes to burning onto disc displays a watermark of the company across the slideshow .

does anyone know of any software preferbly free i can do it with ,

windows movie maker would be suitable

thanks fez . windows movie maker would only burn to a wmv file , so i thought maybe convert that file to a mpg. file using any video converter so hopefully will play on the dvd player. a bit long winded but hopefully will give me the end result just finished nights so going to bed now will try when i get up:surrender
