For years I had the old Nokia phones with dedicated handsfree kits which were brilliant. However as most people I moved on to Smart phones several years ago but since that point I've never found a good cradle to mount it in the car. I like to have a case on the phone which appears to cause problems, at the moment I have one of the leather folding cases. None of the cheaper cases seem very sturdy and secure even if they say that you can still have the phone in a case.

What do other people use and what sort of case do you use?

We've got 2 grip go mounts in the truck but use hard cases & a leather case won't stick to a grip go

normally I ignore my phone when driving , but sometimes I just put the phone in my pocket and use a Bluetooth headset , obviously that's just for calls though .

Agree about ignoring it as in calls n texts. Be nice to use it as a sat nav but also keep it sat secure so that I can charge it without sliding around the car.

Just swapped to samsung note 4 and have got a 'kidigi' cradle. Spot on and allows video and pics whilst in it, good if you fancy recording a bit of offroading ;)

Case is fine, just wanting a good cradle to hold it in the car. Snh's idea is good too.

I use my old PDA windscreen mount for my experia.
Holds it nice and snug and can use the camera for vids which is a bonus:thumb2
