reckon most of us, like most of UK/Europe have adopted the turbo diesel
generally for its better fuel economy due to high cost of fuel here say
compared to the States.
So if cost wasnt an option, would you like a nice throbbing petrol engine
in your truck, as strikes me our yank cousins only have gasoline in their
suvs even upto size of patrol.
in my head i know a good td will offer better torque and make it better
for tugging and off roading, and a modern diesel can be chipped to
exceed an equivalent naturally aspirated petrol.
BUT in my heart, well just love to hear a decent v8 or straight 6 petrol
motor, and hey could always bolt on a supercharger for more traffic
light fun....
guessing the terranos would come alive with a v6 around 3.0, perhaps
4.0 would be an option stateside after all latest pathy had a 4.0 v6
option here at first, til dropped as no one bought 'em.
the troll, will gather theres a 4.8 straight 6, imagine a chevy small block
350/5.7 v8 would shoe horn in too.
come on what would you do?
