I have a LWB Tank but it was from a 2.7 Diesel, I'm not sure if there's a difference, I presume if there was a difference it would just be with the sender unit..... :nenau

If that's the case, looking at the pictures of the top if your tank, I'd hazard a guess that you could switch the sender units over and away you go.

I can get some more pics of my tank at home if it helps?, It's been taken back to bare metal to ensure there were no holes before re-sale so will need to be painted

Are LWB and SWB tanks different?
I'll check if deisil and petrol are the same.

Petrol may have a swirl in side

Do not forget the petrol has the fuel pump in the tank fitted to a purpose made bracket on the bottom , so whilst it would be possible to use a diesel tank you need to fix the pump to the bottom, Rick

OK, so plot thinkens

I spoke to previous owner, who said this IS a Diesel tank !!

The original petrol one was rotten ,
So he got a Diesel one, and had the cage to hold the pump welded in !!

Drop me a PM if you're in need of a tank, as said I have a good one back to bare metal in stock minus the sender unit which you wouldn't need anyway.
