So basically, once i sort my leak off pipes out, I'm thinking a bit more power, don't really care what can be done but why not tweak her up :naughty

So just after a basic list of power tweaks for the 2.7 terrano :nenau

Nothing mega bucks please :thumb2

Re-map all the way for me, just shop around for the best price :thumb2
If ya passing Yorkshire a good friend of mine does it... cheap if we bully him a bit :lol
Cost me £140 but Sssssh!

tdi is fly by wire so its all controlled by the ecu so I don't think you can turn up the pump. My ecu had the old style e prom chips which were removed and changed with re mapped ones :thumbs
yours maybe different I don't know :nenau

Stuff some LPG up it's nose, that'll pick it's tail up :naughty

First thing Alex take your air filter out drive over it a few time & chuck it at a LR owner as they'll need it:lol get yourself a K&N filter the type that go's in the air box not an induction kit (Mind you Paul has a tasty induction kit) you'll gain a few more bhp but throttle response & pick up is miles better & you'll gain 2-3mpg which i've got from both of my Terrano's after fitting it
The one for you truck:thumbs http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISSAN-TE...rts_SM&fits=Model:Terrano&hash=item4614f3b859 K&N aren't making them any more so if you want one get it whilst you still can:augie

maf amp, speed chip.tweek turbo, mmmmm fly by wire. no pump tweek?
remap.
plus better performance from cooling. via petes idea of extra fan and mist spray system.
anything im missing?

Good one sweety, i just bought a normal filter but if you reckon the filter will help :thumb2

Both of mine the engines woke up after fitting the K&N put your foot down & it go's instead of thinking about it & it seems to rev better. Don't get me wrong some like the standard paper jobs but I like fit & forget & will just wash it & re-oil in about 40K

can you remap a 2.7? i thought they were a bit more barbaric? turn pump up?

You are right, you can't remap a 2.7 Td, ie non intercooler, but Alex misled you, :doh he has a 2004 Tdi.
For the Td, pump adjustment and a K&N filter is the only way to go, as far as I am aware.

The tdi has more scope for improvement, in the same way it also has more things to go wrong than the Td too. ie Maf, crank position sensor, throttle position sensor etc etc. Td has none of these. oh and less horses under the bonnet too:doh.

Anybody heard of these and do you know what (if anything )they have done to it . the previus owner seemed to think it was there from new.

You can also fit a front mounted intercooler which Shark1e did on his TD years ago plus the mods make it fit did like the intercooler fan, water mist etc TBH Rustic I think it would be easier getting power gains out of the TD version than the TDI as you don't have the electrics holding you back, I know a few lads who have binned the fuel injection system & ECU's on their hot hatches & gone for twin weber carbs or bike carbs as they could gain more power:augie

Blimey, right.

Well all the mods mentioned are wicked!

Some of them are pretty damn ambitious though.

The k and n filter is an easy one obv.

Some sort of tune box will be a good start, and there is a maf tuneamagiggy too?
