Thought I would pop up a couple of pics of the beast. These were taken earlier this year when I had a moment of madness and was trying to sell her! :doh:doh:doh:doh

Thankfully I only spoke to time wasters, so ended up keeping it!

She got a little ignored at the end of the summer, as I was off doing a few track days but now the winter is here I have been making sure she is all prepped up and ready for action.

Jobs since i purchased her 2 years back:

  • Rub down and Waxoil Chassis
  • Fix Rear Diff Lock Air Pipe
  • Fit New Tyres All Round
  • Enjoy!

I have done a few trips, but not as many as I would like. However there is not a week goes past when she doesn't rescue someone from something, moving house, towing broken down or stuck friends etc.

I did a nice green lane the other day, and I have another trip to Scotland booked for after xmas, which I am very much looking forward too.

She ain't no show pony!:lol:lol:lol:clap

Had an annoying electrical problem recently, that ended up taking the alternator with it. Finally traced it back to the audio circuit.

Strange one, but it seemed that either the electric ariel or cd changer were doubling the ampage drawn with everything turned off.

It was a good excuse to fit a CD player I have had kicking about for a while anyway, the sound is now so much better.

Also just ordered a Safari Snorkle and will be removing the Side steps:thumb2:D:D

What are the rules for green lanes in Scotland? are they on OS maps as byways like the England?
I am planning some wild camping in the summer up there, but would be good if I can get the truck off the main routes also.

Nice truck. I nearly bid on a similar one local to me, even the same colour.

there are noo greenlanes in scotland.

nice, I am thinking of a project myself :thumb2

if it's green and it's a lane, it's a green lane :augie

There are no green lanes I don't think, but plenty of farmers tracks. I got permission from the farmer for the shots above, it was epic. About 8 miles off tarmac. Firstly the tracks at the start, and they ended so it was almost just green at the end where I parked on the beach.

I try to "tread" lightly and there was hardly any tracks more than there was from the farmers, who have been farming it for decades.

SNORKEL HAS JUST ARRIVED AT WORK! :clap:clap:clap:clap:clap:clap
