The floor is such a snug fit!

I love the fold down table on the rear door... The black looks awesome!

Did you build that too?

Got the pics up at last...
Thanks chaps.
I'm a Wood Spoiler, just getting into metalwork Jay. In fact i made the fridge slider using some Dexion channel and a good pair of heavy duty runners.
The black chequer plate on both barn doors is lazer cut and finished by our Polish friends at Escape 4X4 as is the high level cargo shelf you can just see under the head of the doors.
I install high-end German fitted interiors for a living, so making stuff fit as snug as a bug is what i do.

Heres the drop down table...
the wires need lengthening slightly to get it flatter, but im really happy with this Polish gear for the price.

Nice to hear that chaps, thanks.:thumb2
Still a work in progress, as the shorter drawer box leaves room under the flat bed for a pumped water supply and I'm toying with a hinged platform to take the flat bed almost to the back of the drivers seats.
None of it is actually fixed to the vehicle as the scribed panels anchor the whole lot in. That was whole point as I need it to be removable to replace all the seating now and again.
I do have points where I can fix the assembly, if I need to.
Next stage is to buy the storage boxes for our trips away. In the right combinations to use as much of the space as possible. That's why I opted for Euro boxes, they are compatible with each other as a system, lightweight and durable. And in a cool grey:thumb2.

A nice roller blind or tarp over the rear to keep the weather off when the kettle is on would be great, as would pullout seat.
Very neat... A loo tent and portable shower from "Seaflo" sorted.

I used to use an army poncho over the back of my old landcruiser to keep the sun/rain off. I'll bung a pic up later when I'm home. Just tucked the corners into the rear doors and bungied it down to the tyre holder thingy. But you can use a couple of poles or bits of tree an some pegs.

Agreed, some really useful stuff there.
I'm considering something to pull-out from under the roof rack, possibly a solar panel installation for our longer trips.
That would provide the rear cover you're talking about, at least for a brew stop.:thumbs

I bet that you can make something like this look very neat...

Not to scale!
:lol

Yeah, I thought about that when I was looking into it and thought, if anybody can do it, Davey can! :thumbs

Cool, I look forward to the finished article. I have a couple of options that I'm looking at for changing my set up. Slept like a log in mine a couple of weeks ago, in spite of the crowd in tents next door having a party into the night.

I came back to this thread for some inspiration...

Stupid Photobucket! :doh
