I really ought to get on with sealing mine. I've got a leak coming down the passenger footwell when it rains, i suspect the front scuttle panel under the wipers. Sounds like a fairly simple job to remove and re-seal.

Teh boot's prett sodden. I lifted the carpet and there was a load of old newspapers underneath which I assumet he previous owner put there to soak up the water. That one seems like it'll be a harder fix. The door seal's knackered, well looks like a poor job of fitting it previously.

It's in for the MoT next Thursday, so will probably need to do a few jobs for that first.

Oldish post I know but I may be able to shed some more light on this.

Tonight I found why my passengers footwell is wet.

I lifted the plastic trim under the windscreen and found 2 holes where the tin worm had been eating. This means water from the windscreen has been trickling under the trim, through the holes instead of towards the channels in the inner wing, down the inner side of the bulk head into the passengers footwell.

I use Sikaflex instead of tiger seal, it bonds and seals boats back together, you apply it and live with it because it will not come apart or come off. Do not get this on your hands as it will be more than a week before it comes off.:doh
