Does anyone have the link to that parts list for all things Nissan Terrano please ?
I need a front drive shaft to hub oil seal thing and can't find the part online. I'd hate to have to go to the Main Stealers
Damn annoying as it's the first part I need to rebuild the whole hub assembly

Thank's Rustic I do get a picture up from there but on clicking on the parts catalogue, it goes dead, does say beta though, it will be interesting if makeitfit comes up with a seal as the manufacturer of the Nissan ones makes them under licence and can only supply Nissan, that is not to say that another manufacturer may be doing them but my guy at Kent Bearings could not find them, Rick

Tip:-

For anyone on here wanting to know if a part from a newer or older vehicle will fit, then compare part numbers on this site, if the part number is the same...

It should fit.:thumb2

I wish I knew this when I was searching for a replacement fuel tank...
Will the later one fit, will a petrol replace a diesel one etc... nice to know lol.

Caution...
As mine is a 1995 Maverick the part numbers are NOT the same as Ford would have, and there are no cross reference tables anywhere... :doh so I would assume that mine was a Terrano II from around the same year, but this might catch you out, so use with caution...

Hope it helps,
Rustic

Annoyingly the part number refers to the final drive bearing kit and not the drive shaft dust seal :doh Google shows that part number as a bearing kit too .
Milners don't do it soI guess it's main stealer time

Rang the main stealers this morning .
I said I needed a part for my Ford Maverick please, pause, "This is the Nissan parts dept sir " , pause , OK , Nissan Terrano part then please :doh
"Registration number please " , P776VFT, pause, "That's a Ford maverick sir, this is the Nissan parts dept" :doh never mind, bye.

I told you there was no cross reference and if you wanted Nissan parts then you need to refer to a Terrano for the parts list...
I had this problem, simply buying a fuel filter from Nissan, for a Ford Maverick.
But what gets me is... when I ordered a part from Fords, it came in a Nissan box...:doh

I realise that Rustic, that's why I went straight to a Nissan parts dealer :lol
I've just got a result though bizarrely from my local Ford dealer.
He got the old old micro fiche out and found the part number which bore no resemblance to the partsAU one. Ordered it and it'll be here tomorrow from Nissan via Ford and 20 quid. Nissan wanted 43 plus vat
Happy days, eventually :D

That's great, sometimes Ford can be cheaper, we had that scenario a few years back, when many Terrano owners forgot that it was also badged as a Ford Maverick.

Actually, it's quite nice that we have two sources of genuine parts, especially as most of our cars are over 12 years old, some over 20 years old :augie
My concern is, with parts that can only be sourced from the manufacturer, leave us vulnerable 10+ years after final production of that model.. If indeed it is 10 years now..:doh

I have to stop you right there because when I had my Maverick I went in and asked for the price one 4 chrome Ford centre caps for my alloys and was quoted £700+ and VAT on top of that!!!!

I swear they use the same random number generator as the insurance companies :doh

I concur with Banshee,Stealers recently quoted me almost £350 for a Number one Bosch injector.

I've never paid full price from Ford dealers, mind you I am not their best customer by far, as the only money I give them, is for my MOT...so far lol:nenau

Well I'm glad to say the Ford/nissan parts machine has produced the goods :D

It even came ready greased :thumbs
Hub rebuild this weekend then
