I bought some from my favourite store (ebay) and they also work a treat.
Don't know if the "as fitted by makers" ones are the same but mine tend to bleep when on deep grass, gravel, mud etc but thats not a problem .

I'm thinking of getting some of these - the cheapo ones from eBay at about £15 - are they OK for the price?

Do you have any pics of where you fitted them ( I've sussed the general area :wink: ) Its just the bumper seems a bit crowded to me. I've got a 4 set witing to be fitted.

Straight cough (the missus doesnt read this forum lol) I spent about an hour and a half, oh ok nearer two trying to figure out the best spot for them and still havant make my mind up

I've never fitted theses things bafore and apart from knowing they go beep when you go backwards I havent a clue on their operating limits.

I fitted a pair of the self adhesive ones, I removed the rear light fittings in the bumper, so the cable could exit without drilling, and they are fitted... for example... the drivers side is fitted just to the left and level with the bottom edge of the light cluster. Only 15-20mm of cable exposed.
I was going to drill the bumper and fit the sensors from the back but never got round to it. I have also knocked one off and had to use the double sided foam tape to re-attach.
You do get some ghosting (false beeps) in this position, could be the exhaust. I found they worked better in this position rather than close to the number plate.
Be aware if you have a caravan or bikes on the back they will beep when you are reversing. :lol:

I found it easy really... just getting it through the grommet into the car was the fiddly bit, needed 2 sets of hands.

They went in the bin along time ago :lol: :lol:

I striped the wiring loom back that goes to the rear lights and joined into the reverse light wire.. (had to remove the pannel in the boot tho to get to everything better)

Dont ask me what colour the wire was that was long forgotten...

Not much use am I :roll: :lol:
