Paint Codes

I know where my VIN plate is but which bit is relevant to my paint code and does anyone have a table with all the paint codes in so I can get some paints made up for my new wing I need to have re-sprayed and fitted?

My local paint maker just wants the whole code and produces the correct colour in spray cans, all computer derived just like spare parts no problem, sure you must have similar near you, Rick

You'd be surprised how hard it is to get paint knocked up round here, I remember when I went to get some for my Moondust Silver 97' Fiesta to spray a bumper and they mixed if for me using the code under the bonnett, I got it home and it was Colorado Red!!!!!!

Which bit on the VIN plate represents the colour

I've got LP1 K 000 but can't find anything fruitful

Your paint code is LP1 you can get spray cans from amazon

I have used these before http://www.brownbrothers.com/if you have a shop near to you , took my truck down and they will match the code if you are unsure but you will never get a finish to match the rest of the truck using an aerosol to spray a whole panel
