I know that 3 issues mentioned above most likely are not linked to one another, but who knows... Electronics is a tricky thing...
1. Computer gives me P1207 fault code. Since I replaced broken IP last weekend, car was OK for couple of days until this fault came on and "Engine check" is permanently on.
This fault means "CONTROL SLEEVE POSITION SENSOR".
Malfunction is detected when:
a) An excessively high or low voltage from the sensor is detected by ECM.
b) I An improper voltage signal from the sensor is detected by ECM during engine running.
What can be wrong from your experience? Crankshaft position sensor is OK, I checked resistance last week. May it be related to issue 2 below?
2. Horn and radio volume control on the steering wheel are now working.
I think I could have not inserted one of the fuses when checking them, but it may also be somehow related to issue 1 above?
Do you know which fuse controls steering wheel?
3. After car stood for few days with battery disconnected, Airbag light started flashing.
OBD computer shows no faults on automatic scan, but does not allow me to enter Airbag menu - keeps telling "Cannot connect. Make sure cable is attached properly to OBD port" or something like that.
Few month ago I managed to remove flashing airbag light by simply attempting to connect to "Airbag" menu for 3-4 times, but it doesn't work this time.... What can be wrong guys?
