Haynes Manual being considered for Terrano/Maverick

Just been looking on the Haynes site and guess what I found..

The manual for this model has been short-listed for consideration.

There is also one for the Maverick.
Ford Maverick (UK)
But this may be the Mazda version as it has a different number.

Too little too late possibly..
I have sent many an email to Haynes requesting one in the past and so have many other members.
What are your thoughts on this?

I have the original owners handbook for my Terrano 2, I dont know if the Dash Lights are the Same ?
But if you describe it I can check for you!

As far as i am aware Nissan like some other motor makers will not allow Haynes to write a manual for certain models.

Never found haynes manuals very usefull all they show you is how to strip and rebuild parts not how to fix faults:doh

If the mav is the same as my 97T2tdi then the top right lamp is the low washer fluid warning light.

I briefly saw a flash of orange every now and again and wasn't on quite long enough to see what it was until I washed the screen a bit more and yep it was Low Washer Level

Indeed, I can't get one for my Hyundai, but I never need manuals for cars,:lol

They should have downloaded in a zip file, go to your down loads look for a file that looks like a box with folders in it. double click on this , when the security box comes up click run and they should download in PDF form.:lamer:

they are .exe files because they self extract from the zip files i made them that way because not everyone has winzip or winrar this way you dont need it and they unzip themselves to where you want them

If I remember right you'll need to buy 7 litres with some spare :thumb2

I used 5w30 some insist on 10w40

then its a TDi, no question. Thats assuming you have the intercooler radiator immediately under the bulge and its not just a replacement bonnet of course!

When you say 'classified', by who/what?

I have had two petrol T2's both with the air intake scoop but deffo no intercooler on the petrol, I have many owner handbooks Clivvy if you can tell me the dash layout I can look it up for you and if I have it send you the correct book, Rick

quickie....anyone got a owner manual for 97 maverick? I realised mine is for pre 97, the older model, so the explantion of lights etc is wrong - io wanted to check what a certain light meant on the dash-i only saw it pop up briefly, but can remember where it was.

OK just found a Mav book top right is rear fog light, next down is washer bottle level, (this is most likely as is will light on say a hill sometimes) next down is the main beam light, next down are two, water in fuel filter and handbrake light/ low fluid, last below that is glo plug and battery, Rick
