Hi gents
I have been busy over the last couple of weeks getting the trol ready for the trip next year, I have installed a second battery and a split charge volt sensitive relay and run all my USB and 12v sockets that I added last year to a permanent live so now I can charge phones etc overnight without the ignition on and I've rewired my spots so again I can have them on without the ignition on or flattening my start battery. Next job is storage draws which I have bought the timber and draw runners today, the draw runners are relatively cheap which surprised me, 700 mm double runner ball bearing rollers that have a max load rating of 45 kg per pair. Just shy of a tenner. Bargain. That's for this weekend as I'm away at carfest south bank holiday weekend so want to get that finished before I go. Then it will be on to a diy shower setup which should be a breeze as I'm an ex pipe fitter back in the day. Oh and then I need to get some lighting in the back so I can rummage easily when dark, so busy busy. I will add some pics later cos we don't want to offend anyone :thumbs:thumbs

I like it :) any idea of the weight?

At a guess 2 sheets of 18mm ply maybe 20kg!. I got all my bits and bobs in the small drawer, no tools though, thought I might have enough room to get a few essential tools. I guess I could get a torque wrench and a couple of sockets plus screwdrivers side cutters a few spanners and volt meter. The large drawer is for pots pans cutlery and non perishables. The fridge I will have to put on a slide as I won't be able to open the lid fully in the truck.

Are you going to fasten it all down?

Possibly, but I've raised it on 2 bits of 3x2 so I can slide my table underneath and the timber is burying itself into the carpet and sound proofing so it's not moving plus all the weight that's in it it's not going far if at all :clap. Next job is a shower

Nice one, I've made a start on mine today and taken the old system out and took a few rough measurements. Reason I ask is when the drawers are pulled out the weight is no longer in the box so could tip things up :nenau also in the event of an accident.
