lights are diferent t2 fogs in middle. mav top

not sure about size etc, but i woulnt buy some to try just in case

nearlly sorted the grill

well i guarantee they will be the same lights....just the plastic surround changes the mounting point. Bet the Nissan grille fits perfectly. You know I'm right! :thumbs

PS - still reckon you need a new stat as you suspected, no reason for it to start all of a sudden is there?

which is exactly what I hope to weasel out...

But logic tells me this - cars all made in same factory, understandably the grille/badges/little bits of trim are different, but why stock two almost identical but different fog lights (if thats what they were) when all you got to do is supply a bit of plastic that mounts them differently and makes them look different?

Business sense says you don't.

Same with the post facelift grille when you look... they make a cutout in the bumper (so just modify the existing mould potentially?), make a bigger grille (new mould, but not sure if it wasn't already in use elsewhere, haven't looked) then fit new plastics to the new headlight so the mounting point for the grille is different to the older grille - the opening (bar the lower bulge into the bumper) is the same.- the basic metal is completely unchanged.
