Myself, Sweety, JonatanM and a few others post on Difflock and Mudclub, offer a little advice to fellow Nissan owners but suggest they join us on here for more info - seems someone doesn't like that

HERE

He was a member on here and wasn't happy about the tenner then.

Each to there own

looking at members list he's still a member on here. :!:

There's always somebody somewhere complaining about something!!
:? :?

Maybe if people have a problem with the cost they should not join. But constant pusing of the club only irritates people, its all about personal choice at the end of the day.

However there is some club issue's internally that I think need addressing before people winge on about other clubs.

Sometimes its not what you say but how you say it.

thing is your also promoting there site on here and it works both ways they may get new members from here and vice versa, keep up good work mate!

I came from Difflock and I don't have a problem with it. I also have a Jeep and pay and frequent the Jeep Club forum and that costs too. 8)

Just cannot please some people especially whinging Barny?

I'm a bit shocked that someone has kicked up a fuss 8O 8O 8O If it was'nt for you HB & JonathanM advicing me to join this club I would have been a bit stuck & well out of pocket due to garage prices  A few weeks back there was a lad on mudclub that did'nt know about the ultra sonic button on tha dash & asked what it was for,so I told him & sent him a copy of the instuctions from the hand book as i've done for club members  I told him about this site & he is joining the club in the next week or so

nnman came across from navara forum an hes lovin it on here we are getting more an more models joining i reckon weve got all bases covered terranos,r3ms,mavericks,mistral,patrol old and new,navara,pathfinder,d21 so dont think were doing to bad eh! so stuff em

I see our newest member has an x trail, haven't got many members with these,or am i talking rubbish again...lol
Oh and welcome to the club thestudiowizard, hope you enjoy it here!!

think thatll make two x-trails now but as terranos get older and scarcer well get more more newer models in which will keep variety questions and answers interesting and club alive!

More like 15 X-trail owners plus, thats without those that dont tell me there vehicle type when registering, I always ask but do not always get a reply.

I think the problem is they are still new ish and until they start having problems with them they are not going to find us as most of our members found us because they are having vehicle problems and don’t want to pay garage prices.

and nothing wrong with that.

Mav.

be quite funny day someone tips upto offroad day in modded x-trail lol

What can you buy for a tenner these days - couple of gallons of diesel? As I said in another post in another thread, if something is of value then it's worth paying for. I take that view about the Nissan4x4 owners club; my GLASS membership - and I'd take that view of Wayfinder too, if it wasn't included as part of the GLASS membership package.

FWIW, I paid Nissan4x4owners club a tenner just a couple of weeks ago. I reckon I got my money's worth and more in the Derbyshire laning trip yesterday.

Cheers
Andrew

I've only managed one laning trip this year, next year hopefully get to go to more and the rallies, well worth the tenner!!!
Haven't seen any mod'ed X trails yet,or seen any off road for that matter!!.
I'm sure they are quite capable though...after all it is a nissan..lol 8)

Have you done any in Scotland? Do you know of any in Scotland?

Cheers
Andrew

I've only done one up in my neck of the woods(tushielaw!) very easy lane...lol planning to do most of the fords in the borders and there is one good lane that crosses the border on a roman road.
Quite fancy that one,I'm not to far from the border,so getting to some lanes in Northumberland isn't a problem.
My pal is a gamekeeper nearby,so i manage to get my truck dirty now and again..he has a landy(sorry for swearing..lol) and i have no probs going where he goes once i take my towbar off!!
apart from one ford that i chickened out on

As i have said before in some respects I think a tenner is too cheap! I also think that if it were a free site you would get loads of problems and hassle and possibly more people than you can handle!

£10 keeps the riff raff out  most of them but I still sneaked in

Ladyinred, were you reffering to internal issues in this club, or the diff lock forum, i have got a little lost

I also think this is much more than just a forum hence the joining fee, it is the hard work of members and mods (and MAV  ) for discounts, rallies, greenlaning, offroad days, help and advice on all sorts of issues both 4x4 related and not, a real online community!

At the end of the day nothing wrong with heathy debate, perhaps this club aint so PC after all, but there are some members who like to say it as it is ???
Aint there Jace????? -banghead- -banghead-

i know some of the lads ive tried to get interested regard us as bunch borin ol farts to scared to say anything a bit rude/naughty in case it wakes someone up , but then again few of then got mitsibishi worriors so not much hope for them!

I agree a bit of lively debate is great and we dont allways have to agree, the thing is you need ground rules and it is fair that we all agree to agree on these. Or as Al the landlord says you got to have rules or where would we be, thats right ....
