Following my previous thread on the purchase of my SWB 60 Trol I have now started remedial work regarding getting it roadworthy.
Firstly, I had to overcome a starter problem, sometimes it would spin and start, sometimes just click so I removed it and took it to bits, it was full of dried mud which was not surprising considering it had been used a pay and play toy.
Some pics.
anyway a couple of days and £180 later
Top bolt tightening using a 3' extension.
Anyway it spins and starts perfectly.
Greased the front prop while it was off
And the rear while it was on.
Next things to sort out are a couple of lights.
I could do with one of each of these, an offside front and a nearside rear if anyone can help out, I would be happy to purchase.
Thats about it till tomorrow
Andy
