more pics needed

under bonnet for snorkle info

and that roof rack looks.. intresting

.

i'll get some more pics in the light of the snorkel and the roof rack is a £20 ebay special it is a roof rack specially designed for a vauxhall vivaro i just adapted it for my bars and its a perfect fit.

I love multi purpose roof racks :D
That's going to be the muts the next time it snows
Sledge tastic

Looks very good, The roof rack is different. You could mount waffle boards on the sides.

Any more pics of inside and under the bonnet?

Interesting.... Did you put a K&N on the end of the snorkel instead of air filter under the bonnet?

.

the filter is just a cheapie from ebay and i removed the filter from the filter box under the bonnet but when winter comes i'll fit my southdown snorkel tip and replace the filter under the bonnet.

i take some pics later and post them up of under the bonnet

.

some pics of the under the bonnet

looks a little crude i admit but i have 3" neoprene tube covered in gaffer tape where it comes out of the inner wing and joins the airbox.

where it comes out of the outer wing the neoprene is covered in a flexi rubber pipe to make extra sure its waterproof.

the up pipe is mounted on 15mm rubber washers and screwed into the windscreen surround with large jubilee clips sprayed black

..

all the work has been done a shoe string as this is my 2nd car so the wheels and tyres were bought from ebay along with the roof rack, diy snorkel, spring lift, spotlights.

i refurbed the wheels myself ( sander and sand paper)

next thing on the list is replacing the arb's and links all round and all the shock absorbers along with a decent oil service.

i was also thinking of doing a body lift but cant make my mind up ?

Looking good :clap

2 things ;)

Have a look at www.thefourwheeldriveclub.com as there are a lot of members there that lane in & around Surry :thumbs

You need to seal the join from the air box to the snorkel much better as that will let water in :( ;)

pm "makeitfit" to find out how :thumbs

Just the way I like to do my jobs :D
You don't NEED a body lift unless you intend to go for much bigger tyres :thumbs
