Hello,

Since getting my terrano, one side has always sat lower than the other at the front. I adjusted it so it sat level and raised the front a little, I have also installed a winch.

One torsion bar is adjusted much more than the other may be 10/12mm on the adjuster. An does not have that much adjustment left. I am thinking the torsion bar may need replacing as they should be even right???

I have had a look on the following site http://www.purenissan.com/hd_torsion_bars.htm
and they list an uprated torsion bar for the "1987-95 Pathfinder WD21 4WD". Am I right in thinking that this will fit the Terrano 2. Part number NP1458.

Thanks

Gavin

id say someones removed one at some stage and not marked it for ease refiting, then when they replaced it they got it few splines out youd need to remove and refit to get them right

There is a possibility that at some point the torsion bar had been removed and not put back equal to each other, if you are running out of thread to adjust then it is possible to move the arm around on the spline on the torsion bar and gain some thread that way, if you have a copy of the cd manual it is explained in there where it should be set for standard height.

Is the t-bar strait, I bent one of my originals and had a similar problem.
