old red!

been trying to think of a name for the old girl since i got her,started to write old red maverick in the title and stoped after old red. so that be her name!
not done a lot to her yet!

needs torsion bars winding up badly but im not lying in the wet and my work shop is full of crap.

no tunes got to me after a wile so got a cheapo chinese headset

spotted these today on ebay quick road trip with me dad in is terreno.


gona get them on rims in the morning and see how much lift i need on the front:clap

I put 31s on and needed to fold the seems over and trim the flaps. Was told to lose the mud flaps but I didn't want to. It rubs now and again but I'll keep them for now.

You'll have to wind the front up and when it's settled measurements should be a bit less than the back.

A pair of standard lwb rear coils will give the rear around an inch or so of lift.

Depends where abouts in Staffordshire you are,i do the peaks but dip into Cheshire and Staffordshire on a couple of the routes.

so got busy with the angle grinder borrowed a mig and taught my self to mig weld:thumbs

just bodged the joins inside for now as im going to upgrade to a newer t2 air box bigger bore:thumbs more air=more power

You would be better off with S/S welds easier and does not give off poisonous gas, although I do use Argoshield Light, not sure how S/S welds with carbon dioxide which a lot of people use, Rick

i used Argoshield ive got a massive bottle.i did try with stainless but it was too thick and wouldnt bend i`ll have too source some thinner stainless before i do any more repairs!

There aren't any official Terrano snorkels out there, the Navara one slaps straight on though, mine says Navara on it too :thumb2
