Hey extreme I'll try and scrounge the special alan key thing ASAP.
Sounds like you've been doing boy shopping! Does the misses know:augie

to be honest i had most of it before
except the ropes me and Howard made up but they only cost 35.00 materials. just couldn't decide how to get it all on the truck i thought most would have to go on the roof.

but it all fits in quite neatly and it wont all go rusty outside.
(that reminds me to fix the leaking seal around back door tomorrow)

so i can go mad with the spots when i get the roof done

the wife is talking now. sadly i was enjoying the quiet:rolleyes:

well ive been setting up my truck with all the recovery kits i can squeeze into it....

friend howard of the green oval brigade gave me an almost new winch (not fitted that yet though)

but just so i dont get screamed at again (ask pete makeitfit) i now have

6 torches (all working)
1 shovel
2 waffle boards
1 high lift jack
2 sets of jump leads
1 emergency breakdown kit
1 first aid kit
1 set of spare basic tools
1 4 metre rope
1 6 metre rope
1 10 metre rope
4 4.5 tone shackles (rated)

oh and 1 tree strop

all inside the truck and as fixed permanent tools

tomorrow i plan to fiddle with the electrics . i want more sockets, caravan florecent light in rear (boot)

and start work on the recovery work light ive been on about

one things for sure it wont be said i have crap recovery kit anymore

just need the roof bars from pete so i can take the kids out:augie

woow so not for us first timers then really puts you off
Or ........

it can be really good fun . you can do things that will really excite you . things you wouldn't think your truck will do.

but

if your not careful and don't look before you go (like we all did) the best you can hope for is getting stuck for 5-6 hours
you could easily have some bad accident in there

in our case it was a case of having a good time and didn't concentrate on the job at hand... no one looked first

stunning place ...absolutely stunning

NO worry not we had a ball:D:D It's just the last downhill bit out of the sticks turned out to be a quagmire and river bed and thick forest and and and NO BEER at all:augie
