Don't think you'll be able to post in other sections until you pay full membership.

Anyhoo welcome aboard :thumbs

Have you got an air lock in the cooling system perhaps. Think if I remember correctly you'll need to remove radiator cap and run it up to temperature to bleed the air out.

Just how much oil have you got coming out of the intercooler? Can you post a photo.

If you have the original Nissan spring clips that hold the pipes onto the intercooler, they weaken over time, and allow the pipes to start to leak. Change the clips for proper Jubilee clips you can tighten up, and that should stop the leak... assuming the pipes or intercooler themselves are not split/holed.

You next question is why you have oil going through the intercooler, and that is another whole bunch of questions and answers ranging from wrong oil, piston blowby, worn valve seals, over fill on the oil, and a knackered turbo or faluty crank case pressure relief valve, just for a start.

I suggest you pay your tenner, and start having a search on the forum, as these have all been covered many times, with various cures, or ways to reduce and live with the issue.

Warm welcome mate, just off to bed so look more tomorrow, Rick

Hi Mark, you won't regret paying the tenner:thumbs

Take a look in the Downloads section which is within the Quick Links section. There are some cracking how to guides, not sure this particular problem will be covered but I bet you find some interesting fixes such as that loud clunk when on full lock.

Solarman will give you some good pointers to check for your oil leak and as already said replace the clips with proper Jubilee Clips as a matter of course.

I'd start by giving the blowby control valve a wash through with some diesel, heres what it looks like

it's easy to remove and replace

all paid up now

Welcome aboard, you will enjoy the forum, you will soon get to realise that about 25% of the forum is about technical issues and up grades to the trucks, and the rest is about it's members and how we banter and support each other. :thumb2

I think you should fit in well. I am surprised that you have not been asked to post pics of your truck, then you may then ask how to... but I think you will easily cope with that.:thumb2
Again, welcome aboard, I think by the end of the day, you will have got your tenner back many times over.

Welcome mate

Clean the valve out as stated and then give the pipe a check for splits and replaced the jubilee's and that should solve it :thumb2
