Oil Leak and MOT Regulations

The 3litre has an oil leak, I know some of you saw it last September at the Rustic meet.
Not a large leak but there is a drip. I’m sure it’ll not be sump plug but I’m about to change oil so will replace washer and also a bit of ptfe tape around threads but I doubt this will resolve the leak. The sump isn’t rotten and seems pretty clean really.
It’s in for MOT on Tuesday, I drop it off on Monday teatime so it’ll have time to drip even if I wipe it clean. Does anyone know the MOT regs, I’m sure I saw something about leaks.

Oil leaks

I have but assumed it would be either substantial or an oil mist from a part such as a power steering pump system where future safety might be compromised.

Unless it's really bad it will be fine. Usually they just put a note on the certificate.

Jet wash underneath first. Unless its substantial its an advisory.

Don’t know, I never see the dam thing except when it’s broke so I can’t remember last time I saw it :doh

Mine had a leak from the hoses on the left side of engine
Had to take off the wheel and move the skirt
Tighten the hose clips job done
