Oil Change

Hi all, I'm a newbie and I've just managed my first job, an oil and filter change. I used Nissan oil which seems to make it run a bit quieter. I dont know who makes Nissan oil but at 14.35p for 5 ltrs it seem reasonable to me.
I've still got an oil light problem. It goes of once started and then returns as a faint glimmer. I seen other posts, it seem's it a common problem on 3.0 ltrs.

Sounds like its tickover Thats the prob. If it goes out when you rev jeep up a little thats fine .Its when its on all the time :doh You dont want that. Try a new oil switch 3.0 are a bit prone for doddgi oil switches

Have you changed the oil filter recently and did you use a genuine one?
I used a Boshi filter once and it was the cause of similar problem I now use Nissan or Mahle - sorted.

Sorry for long delay been on my hols, Yes I changed the oil and filter using Nisan oil and filter, I think its electrical as it is a very faint glimmer. the oil light comes on full brightness with ignition only
