I can only say I purchased oil, lots of it from here and whilst most was OK but I thought dear, the oil supplied for the LSD was not LSD even after phoning to confirm that it was as did not say on the container, and was assured it was, a few weeks later I had this juddering on the rear, and found it was the oil causing it, there is a tread of mine on here documenting all that happened although I did not mention who supplied it, Rick

IMHO, I don't think this sort of advertising should be on this forum. The guy does not reply if you do ask a question, you have to ring them, it's all one way and the same old, same old adverts are boring :(

Or is that just me?

Come on Banshee, sort this as members are clearly not happy, Rick

How much does he pay for these ads as a matter of interest ?
I don't usually bother reading these oil threads anyway but surely our 10 quid subs is enough for bat to keep afloat ? :nenau

its quite obvious he doesn't read the replies to his thread ..... perhaps he posts in many forums ...... a sort of blanket advertising as indicated by the competitions and winners announced recently .

Santa Claus, I can assure you, does exist. Oilman on the other hand....
Great thread though.

I cannot be bothered to find my original post on this, so I will repeat, I put in an order, just under £200 if I remember, and it included LSD for the rear diff, but the oil supplied did not say LSD so I rang them to confirm, they said yes it was LSD a few weeks later I had rear axle juddering problems, changed the oil for Comma LSD problem solved, so was not impressed, with price or quality, Rick

Be interesting if he replies to my post, this is the second one so seems unlikely, Rick

In Defence of Opie OiIs and Oilman

LIke others I expected replies through this site but clearly its a case of contacting the company. I found the website quite good as it gives you options if you want to save money and go for a cheaper brands / options.

In defence of Opie Oils I have purchased 5 litres of Fuchs Titan 10W/40 Ultra MC fully synthetic for £24.24 including delivery via e-bay for my Hyundai.

Asda do one too but you do not know whose brand they are using with supermarkets. I was a fan of Chevron fully synthetic and CostCo used to have it on the shelves at £13.00 for 4 litres but they seem to only do mineral or semi now.

Few places seem to have this grade of fully synthetic oil. I tend to buy for stock when its on offer so I have some on the shelf ready for the next oil change.
