Hi all,
This is my first post so hello from a very rainy North Wales. Just bought a 2001 Terrano II, 2.7td. The problem I have noticed is that the odometer some times works then it disappears so is there bulbs behind them or will I need a set of clocks to fix this ?

I also need a near side front indicator so can anyone suggest a pattern part supplier for this?

Thanks all for any help
Cheers
Geoff

Hi and welcome.

For the Indicator send a PM to CNCFabs on here, he should be able to help.

As for the Odometer, that is a common problem with the 2000 onwards ones, and there is not a lot you can do, other than find one of the companies that fix them, and send it off.

Welcome to the club.
Sometimes there are a few poor connections, so take a look.:thumb2

Hi, and welcome, Take heart in the fact that if the digital clocks were working properly the chances are that they had been replaced , so the mileage, would be suspect .my digi clocks don't work ether, you get use to it, I believe you have to send them away to have them repaired and its quite expensive.

My mates odometer has been going dim or off every winter for the past 7 years but comes back on once the weather warms up but as said it's very common thing to happen. Nissan have known about it after about a year they changed the clocks & were changing them under warranty if it happened in the warranty period

The lighting or the actual digits? I have a bulb out on the lhs dash

Yeah its just a Idiosyncrasy,of these trucks..

I found if I took my clocks out on my 2001 2.7 and put pressure on the back of the pod, the readout would come back to life, there must be a dry joint in them.
I have not had this issue with my 2005 model.

I had this on mine just dry joints on the back of the clocks 10 min witha soldering iron and all fixed :thumb2

Thanks all for the warm welcome, now I know it's a common problem I won't be to bothered then, the truck was a bargain and is just for me to throw my fishing and Shooting gear in and take off, so it's bound to have a few small problems.

Looks like we picked the right time to buy another 4x4 as woke up to a spattering of snow this morning.
Cheers
Geoff
