Hi, this might have been asked more than once but I couldn't find any picture that shows the location of ODB socket (2001 Terrano II 2.7TDi). Could you please guide me where to find it? :bow

It will be a black plug underneath those 2 blue relays near the fusebox. Given yours is a 2001 I reckon it will be a 14 pin jobbie and therefore you'll be able to use ECUTalk with a Consult adaptor :naughty

Except yours I reckon will be a different shaped end with only 14 pins but may be the one I have pictured

Mines a grey 14 pin one that just hangs loose behind the fuse box.

Thank you!:clap Thought I checked around the fusebox, but didn't manage to find it - initially thought a previous owner took it off or what!

This is a picture taken from front including a bit of underneath of box, but it didn't show it....?

When I checked around fusebox, I didn't see it nor loose socket either...hmmmm, I think I'd need to check again over this weekend.

It is usually clipped up behind the fuse/relay panel, Rick

Thank you, Rick. I will check it out. Wonder if one of these somewhere...

Whoa

That's odd, yours does appear to be missing.

The plug does un-clip and slide from it's mounting point so it may be possible someone has tucked it up somewhere else to keep it out the way :nenau

Have a good scout around

I finally had time to look into this and thanks for your advice, it was hidden behind the fusebox.

It was 14pin and although I had 14pin-16pin converter, it didn't read. I can't actually recall this adapter was for Nissan or mapping is correct. I searched eBay and found this one.

Do you think if I use this adaptor I can use normal ODBII analyser?
