Does anyone know if our trucks are "OBD II compliant":nenau

Thinking about getting one of these diags machines off ebay for this motor and others. I wonder if they'll code up the transponder keys?

Yours should be OBD 1, OBD2 came in at 2001 I think and this will have a 16 Pin diagnostic connector not 14 as in OBD1.

A quick bit of Googling seems to imply European diesels weren't OBD2 compliant until 2004....but allegedly the handbook should tell you.

Sods Law says I haven't got one for my 02-plate T2, any chance someone cold have a look at theirs and advise please? :augie

If you have a 16 pin diagnostic connector lacroupade, you have OBD2

Thanks Jeremy, I'll have a squint at the weekend cos this sounds a useful tool, and they aren't that expensive either....
