Number plate light,tail lamp

As of yesterday my numberplate lamps have stopped working as has my driver side rear tail lamp.Indicators fog lamp etc all work fine. Ive checked all bulbs and fuses that i know off. Any help would be much appreciated.

Check the cables where they enter the light units.They get a lot of water/ debris , found a few of mine corroded through ( well the local plod did )

Plugged another light unit in still no go. Im assuming the numberplate lights are wired into the wiring that appears to be knackered.

you will have to trace the fault backwards,from lamp,make sure the earth is good.

Since you have one rear lamp working it's pretty safe to assume the fault is between that and the number plate lights. Do you have towbar electrics? Seen some pretty dodgy connections in that area

Yes i have towbar eletrics which have been messed with before looking at it.

That sounds like a good call to me, then I'd be looking at fuses too
