Took the injectors off the maverick engine last night, is number one at the back or the front ? The one at the back is pitted round the inlet, is this the one that gets problems ? Could the pitting be due to heat from the pipe running close to it ?

I've called it number 1  :nenau

After my rebuild i put new nozzels in n its playing up all ready so have decided to live with it

Its only from the 1st cold start of the day n until it gets warm then fine :thumbs

Mines not damaged in anyway though :D Think its just lazy or blocked :nenau

No1 injector is the one at the front mate, with the wire attached.

No1 is at the front, just checked the manual, but there's no wire going to it. Was that only fitted on the TDi or is something missing ?

shit sorry mate i wasnt paying attention!! i think on yours its still the one at the front, its just on the TDi , the wire is a lift sensor.

I haven't got a lift in mine either, but it's only one step up so I don't think it's needed.

:jesterbg, see your on the ball this morning 11redrex, :lol
