that wont be the right ckp mate, i can almost guarantee it, it will be the wrong size, wrong plug.

at 145k miles, id be surprised if this issue wasnt the ckp. i only had 114k on mine when mine went....

Extreme is still driving my old automatic which has done in excess of 180,000 miles since 2000. And guess what...whats a CKP? :thumbs

Only ever had a wheel bearing that failed prematurely and an autobox rebuild that was my fault for overweight towing :doh

perhaps automatics are slightly different....

LOL......thrash the bugger and it won't go wrong, thats my experience.:thumb2
And mine :sly:sly most of the time anyway till the thrashed brakes dont quite do what they did 15 years ago and the hedge gets real big all of a sudden like then you have to do some impromptu weeding to get the bugger out before old bill turns up to see what's going on here then travelling a little quickly were we sir well I didnt think that was quick you should have seen me coming out the pub earlier......................................
Just thrash it:naughty

I was almost a road works engineers worst enemy:eek:

Where's the sense in having a man in a hole protected only by some spotty oik with a stop go lollipop sat in his car on a blind bend while I was exercising my right to travel in thrash mode:doh

Anyway I'm sure he'll be fine with a new pair of undercrackers:lol

yeah, i had the same issue, same quotes, turns out its wrong, but we shall see. only Nissan could supply at around £200.

you will find, when you get it, its the plug on the end that is wrong....

not starting fingers crossed fixed

Hi

Found that the glow plug blue push connector was faulty/signs of wear i have a habit of spraying holts damp spray & spray oil on things, in engine bay for now i have connected using a block connector doing away with the blue connector will try fit new one its only one wire so could use a crimp think the wire has 12 volts only when starting.

MIL light off now but will read code. because it was turning over and over several time other things could start failing and putting light on

we had a focus MIL on said fuel sensor of some kind only changed filter light went out never had bother again so some times can send you down the wrong path.

Glen
