I assume you mean - SP 8880 6459 as your reference isn't anywhere near Great Doddington. Dead End green lanes are often this way, from what Trailwise says it looks like it was closed some time back but may not be now but the locals like to say it is and put signs out etc, basically its overrow, and goes no where, look elsewhere.

I'll have a look and see what I can find - where do you live for me to use as a centre to search from.

Councils online mapping - go to transport and the rights of way and update the map. Byways are shown in brown. you'll still be best of asking the rights of way department if any you intend to drive are open as they may be on the map but be TRO'd and thus possibly closed.

I will try to find out about that. I went right past it today on way to Daventry,didnt see this post till I got home this evening.
Billing is always a good place to meet up to chat and look over ppl's motors etc but they dont like 4x4's carrenning about amongst the punters Kind of frightens them a bit.
