Tyres £260 Fitting £20 being able to go green laning Priceless!!!!!!!!

Just from looking at them they are about a 32" but the truck feels taller when driving. When i bought them I stood them next to a 31 10.5 16 and they were a good inch taller than that! They may not be KL71's but they don't they look the dogs! I think I could have gone for 275/75/16's possibly next time.
:naughty

Measured them yesterday when I was changing the front pad and they are a sidgen over 32"

Finally - Almost a success !!!!!

Happy New Year to you all!!!

Sorry to the few who showed Interest in my little trip!!

I thought it a good Idea to do a test run first so got a friend of mine to come along with his winch.......... Even though it is atached to a landy ( a well modified landy at that )

The winch came in usefull when he could not get up the Icy Rocky climb behind the partol:eek:.... As we all thought!!!!!!!!!:augie

Due to my navigating we missed a few sections out, but did get through 3 fords and severly stuck in the snow( touche landy had to pull me back twice but I don't think he would have got through the 3-4 foot drifts as the blizzard set in on the moor top )

Overall it's an interesting route especially if your not from this area as it takes in some cracking scenery ( As did my suspension ).

Unfortunatley Descresion got the better of us and we turned around just before dark. As the snow had almost covered our tracks we made on the way up we gave it all the beans on the way down and it was severly bumpy to say the least.

The only damage from the day was £50+ in fuel ( worth every penny ) and a blown head light bulb, due to steep entry into the second ford covering the offside corner of the bonet,

I can Only attach one Pic so I'll put the rest in my Album If I can.

Hope these few pics help you to deide to come along when the sun is shining!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you have a meeting place in mind?

I'm in as long as elty has my steering mod done by then and my clutch is fixed.
Landy Lee wants come.
There's another 2 truck owners interested when I give them more details.
But its only fair to let members on here have the opportunity for first come first serve space availability.

We need to have some kind of idea what area we will be starting from.
I haven't had an holiday this year and I might book myself a cottage for a long weekend:D
