I always look at your laning weekends through green eyes. I have a standard vehicle with AT tyres fitted which is my everyday drive so not looking to wreck it. When I see the photos you all post it looks all fairly sedate or are these photos just to sucker in and unsuspecting newbie. Did a bit of pay and play a long time ago when I had a mark 1 Isuzu Trooper and really enjoyed it. Would it be worth coming along or would I have to drive around too many bits.

Mate I used to be the same and was terrified of ruining my car however firstly you'll realise that the Terrano is tougher than it looks and also we cater the lanes around the vehicles. Paultrol had a standard patrol with just about legal road tyres on and he did the majority of lanes easily no sweat!!!! We didn't however let him attempt Hollinsclough, he parked up for that and jumped in with Steve

You should deffo join us buddy :thumb2

I've had people tag along with standard cherokee jeeps and nissan pathfinders.
Most lanes are quite sedate And you should do fine there are on ore two scratchy n deep bits but you should be ok with the rest.

My problem will be when to stop. My idea of a weekend mountain biking is PassPortes du Soleil (if you don't know Google it) so it's more myself I'm worried about than my Terra's ability. Red mist and all that

Never needed my winch On the lanes yet.
Used it once on an icy b road when exosteve spun on a very steep hill so winched him back down to level ground.

The Trolls gaging for some more lanes so we're all up for it depending on dates

The best weekend for me would be.Saturday 31 October /Sunday 1 November.
It's the only day that I can travel up on Friday.

Don't know for sure if I will be attending this meet.
All depends on if I have got the terrano sorted.
Lost interest in it for the moment. Hopefully getting the mighty terios mot'd this weekend but will have to take on some easy lanes to see how it copes with the rough.

A couple of lanes that have got TRO's on them, don't know if they are on your planned route.

Bad luck Banshee you can't have a go:doh

Thanks Elty at least I have a contact number as I was going to put in a complaint to the forestry commission as it was there machine that started the erosion that led to the demise of this nice little lane.

Thats the complaint that most people have got with the section through batersby forest.
Big machines have churned it up and has been a piss poor effort at repairing it.

Is this meet going ahead? :nenau

Yea I know I'm an inpatient sod.:thumbs
