Evening eveyone,

Took the terrano to local jet wash other day when i finished, and indicated to go right, i heard a beeping noise coming from rear of truck, this went on for a few seconds then indicators went off, got home checked fuse, blown, replaced no more problems, until it rained then beeping noise came back. noise comes from left of truck when indicating right, no problems going left.

is this just water getting into rear clusters, i was thinking of taking them off putting some clear silicone round them and replacing.

am i on the right track, any ideas?

check the bulb is not the buzing type you can get from ebay for reversing lights.... just a thought

does or did your motor have a towbar on it?????? It sounds like the indicater buzzer/bleeper for towbar electrics. If you don't have a tow bar now it might be worth checking to see if one has been removed and the electrics tucked away behind the bumper.

Yes it does have a towbar with single electrics, i changed the socket during the summer as the one that was there was completely rusted up.

I reckon water has got in to the black socket and shorted it out. Dry the socket out and check your fuses again, once your working again it is worth greasing the terminals on both sides of the socket.

Yeah might not be as windy in July so you can have the gazebo out to keep you dry
