mines zexel injector then noway to test with multimeter
wot wud the symptoms ov this type ov injector been faulty be ???

well unplugged no1 sensor test drove goes loads better pulls like a train now work that 1 out cos i carnt ????????????

no fault codes no engine mangement light comin on but the car i fetched the pump of never had a wire on injector 1 niether thats y i tried unplugging it and made all the difference now 1500 rpm put foot down and goes wen its plugged in the cars flat so guess ill leave it unplugged

All an injector sensor does is tell the brain the actual point of injection, so if your injector has the connector stuck on "inject" all the time then disconnecting it the system will go back to fail safe numbers, I have a xzanta that has a no 1 sensor and only gives marginal improvement to fuel consumption connected disconnected hardly notice the difference, but fuel ecconomy suffers, Rick

As long as it wouldnt damage anything, leave it unplugged i guess :nenau

As good & as clever as electrics are on vehicles, when they go wrong there a pain in the ars... I prefer basics, no ecu etc, my simpleton brain can work things out then  :lol

personally, id replace it.

you know how these things go, leave it unplugged, and no doubt it'll lead to some other issue!

£200 ish though...!!!

Left unplugged or a dead sensor will cause retarded (late) injection. Hence the drop in mpg and a more sluggish engine. The ECU will also not give full power.
