Hi folks still looking for truck problem ie noise no power decided pump seems ok plus too big a job for me :nenau but been looking at injectors cracked off all injectors one at a time engine clearly goes onto 3 but when no1 cracked off (at top) the rattle noise lessens ?
Also tried disconnecting the lead from injector and it made no difference is that normal?

ah yes missed that bit.

then id say possibly the sensor is giving an incorrect signal, meaning the timing might be out perhaps or something similar, or, just needs adjusting...

infact, i have no idea at this time.

well, if you unplug it, the ecu defaults to a preset setting, which may run BETTER, if the sensor is faulty....just a thought...!

It will be the no 1 injector, had the same trouble with mine,if you pull the flash codes out of the ecu,it should be code 34,which is needle lift sensor in the injector, they malfunction, and go into limp mode, easy job to do,if you can find an injector, there like rocking horse manure, nissan quoted me £354.00 quid !!!,got one on ebay for £80.00,
so check out ebay for a low mileage second hand one,you will also need a 27 mm injector removal tool, with a hole in the side(to accept the sensor wire),good luck, let us know how you get on,andy. :)
