No throttle at start

Like I said before that is a solenoid, I see the pump has a turbo compensator diaphragm, you need to check the operation of the solenoid but as said before have never seen one in that position before so again it needs to be removed and checked, Rick
 
Oh and a throttle position sensor, does your motor have an ECU? does it have a MAF it will be on the inlet pipe and say "Hitachi" as it is a Zexel pump, Rick

ECU? No, not as far as I am aware.
MAF? No.
 
OK so it is a mechanical VE pump, you need to remove that solenoid and check it, also the pressure regulating valve at the front next to the inlet banjo the inlet pipe and banjo will need to be removed for access it is a circular stub with two flats on it 10mm apart, if you are lucky you will get it off with a good 10mm open end spanner, Bosch do a special tool, so you will have to improvise, there is a piston inside that must slide freely, Rick
