No sound from speakers

Hi all need a bit of help if possible!
The sound from my speakers suddenly stopped working,there is absolutely nothing at all from them.I have tried another stereo and it is the same although the dials illumination etc all seem fine.Is there an amp or something that could be causing it if so where is it.Thanks.:nenau:nenau

Ahhhh! The traditional fix for any audible mechanical problem!!

I know someone who once drove back from his hols in Spain with a (company car) Laguna, using that technique.... It was found to be majorly lacking oil & the chap concerned nearly got a 'gross misconduct' dismissal. He was saved by virtue of never having signed or agreed to any company vehicle policy!

My L plate had an amp under drivers seat - i always assumed it was aftermarket only 2 channel to rear speakers.

have you tried the fader making sure its all the speakers? :nenau

Thanks all replaced the AMP now works fine so when the misses starts up goes the sound :naughty
