Hi guys,

I have been offered the above chip....hopefully I can attach a picture of the unit for greater clarification.......:nenau

So, my question is....is it worth bothering with?

I have read some critiques suggesting that more than useless, they can be disruptive to the ECU.......

Any thought on this, would be more than welcome.

Thanks in advance....:thumb2

Have to hold my hands up here and say I do not know, but I know a man that does, Rayf####, if he is about and able he is the guru, but not been so well of late, Rick

If it was as easy as plugging a dongle into the diagnostics socket and leaving it there then why would chip manufacturers come up with all kinds of devices that connect all over and to all sorts of items on the engine?

Sorry I’m not a fan of this type of gadget but like Rick I have no experience of this type of thing. Maybe I’m boring but I’m a great believer in leaving things standard.

How much is it ?
Reputable company Tunit do one that does work £170
Remap about the 200 quid mark.
Proven figures and longevity.

I have watched the videos on this, and taken with the advice on here...... The item can stay in it's packaging where it sits, not in my car.....
Thank you guys....... :bow
