has any one got pic off were the reverse light switch is located there r several under the car don't know witch one to test I have no reverse lights:nenau:nenau

it is one of the 5 on the gearbox, it is probably on the gearbox diagram in the manual, the ones I know of are 4 wheel, neutral, reverse, cannot recall what the others do, but if you select reverse ignition on and pull the plugs one by one and link out the two wires with someone watching the reverse light you should find it, but it is more likely a corroded wire on the light cluster or the plug and socket, Rick

There is only one reversing light, on the near side, have you checked the bulb?

There is also a "4x4 selected" switch, but this is on the transfer box part of the gearbox

You don't need a reverse light as it's not a legal requirement:thumbs If you check the colour of the wires at the bulb holder for the reverse light they should be the same colour on the plug for the reverse light switch & I think it's orange or red/black going off the tow bar wiring but best to check
