Nissan Terrano will not start

I v'e been racking my brains ( yes both cells) today :smile: and :idea: have you made sure after you ran a tenny weeny bit low on fuel that you have changed the filter as this make have floating bits that some times block the fuel system :?: and even enter in to the fuel pump causing an intermitant fuel stavation problem :wink: :!:

Changing the fuel filter is an option...thanks. Also, since now the car will not even turn over when being jumped the battery terminals/earth are no good? Disconnected the battery for 24hrs...nothing doing.
The dealer was having none of it...except to say have it towed at my expense to his mechanic who would repair it also at my expense. Well...duh. Getting a mobile guy out on Saturday to have a look at it. Will keep yoou posted as an answer to this whole thing could prove useful for someone out there. Thanks for all your ideas and help.

Hi to all who were following this thread

It seems that the problem was a tiny leak in the fuel pipe at the rear wheel. This had been 'repaired' by someone and had come undone.

After the mobile man replaced the pipe it has been fine...
